Ways You Can Support Local Businesses That Don't Cost Money.

Old cuts used for letter press printing

1. An easy way to support a business you like is by writing a review on them. Google loves to see reviews. I've been trying to be more conscious and write reviews for places that I like. Pre COVID-19, when I went to a restaurants, I'd write down where I parked, the server I had, and maybe a fun drink I tried.

We could really use some genuine reviews at Swift Printing too. Would you please consider taking a few minutes to leave us one? If you have a google account already here's the link: https://g.page/r/CTBcrTpxg1aZEAg/review

Facebook reviews are super helpful too! https://www.facebook.com/swiftprinting404/reviews/?view_public_for=104223739654652&ref=page_internal

2. Engage in social media posts. Likes, shares, and comments go a long way. I don't even try to understand how it all works but I know when someone is engaging with a post that it will make it more engaging for others.

Please consider liking us on Facebook and following us on Instagram. Links are below.

3. Tell a friend about a business or a person you like. We're so quick to share a negative experience, but do we share all the places we enjoy with friends?

I love sharing a place I enjoy with a friend or colleague. For example, I'm obsessed with Camp Roger's new Acorn Resale Shop. Have you heard of it? (See what I did there?) As much as I'd love for this thrift shop to be mine and mine alone so I get all the treasures, I don't think I can solely support them. :)

I also like e-introducing friends that I think will hit it off. Literally, if I'm with you and another person pops in my head I'm going to consider that a sign and help you make the connection.

I'm always down to meet someone new as well. If you think we could be a good fit for your friend's business, please introduce us.

4. Offer helpful feedback. This has to be done kindly, but every business owner wants to hear if something wasn't handled properly. We're all human and we all make mistakes. Give the business an opportunity to make it right.

We like constructive criticism too. We will always welcome ideas that will help us serve you better. (Please send this in a private email or phone call to me directly.)

These are just a few ideas. Have others? Please share them with me!

All the best,
