Swift Printing Announces the 8th Annual Donut Dash on February 17, 2026
Grand Rapids, MI — Swift Printing is excited to announce the 8th Annual Donut Dash, taking place Tuesday, February 17, 2026. This fun WestSide tradition brings the community together for a lighthearted, high-energy event in support of the Grand Rapids Police Foundation.
It is a fun run or walk with no entry fee, sign-up here.
Participants will meet at 6:00 p.m. at Swift Printing Parking Lot (412 bridge St NW) to kick off the event with the first paczki. (polish donut) From there, runners will complete a 1.5-mile run to Gazelle Sports, (52 Monroe Center NW) enjoy a second paczki, then continue another 1.5 miles to Bridge Street Market ( 405 Seward Ave NW) for the final paczki. Then head to Broad Leaf Underground for the afterparty and fellowship. (443 Bridge St NW) Where there will be a raffle and participants can enjoy food and beverage. (food & beverage are paid for by the participant.) The Donut Dash combines fitness, fun, and paczki indulgence—perfectly timed with Fat Tuesday.
“There’s truly nothing like the Donut Dash,” said Jes Slaydon, President of Swift Printing. “It brings people together in the middle of winter, gets us moving, and supports a cause we really care about. The GRPD does tremendous work, and their foundation fills the gap the budget doesn’t cover from the K-9 units medical bills to department recognition. This is our fun way of rallying the community around them.”
The Donut Dash is free to participate, and all are welcome, runners, walkers, families, and first-time dashers. While there is no entry fee, participants are encouraged to purchase an official event shirt or make a donation, with all proceeds benefiting the Grand Rapids Police Foundation.
