Sustainable Printing in Grand Rapids is for the birds says Perfect Circle Recycling
Recently, Swift Printing was able to work on a project for Logan Kozminski with Perfect Circle Recycling.
(Yes, he is related to our famous pressman, Ben Kozminski. Logan is his nephew.)
Logan graduated from Aquinas college in 2021 with a degree in Sustainable Business and currently works for Perfect Circle Recycling. They recycle packaged foods that were originally destined for the landfill and divert it to other sustainable outlets.

For one of the food outlets, Logan and his boss, Todd Wilson, created a business called Perfect Circle Proteins+ to make bird food and suet cakes. They take all of the packaged nuts, seeds, oats, and other ingredients that were destined for the landfill and make suet cakes with them. The company even upcycles the plastic Tupperware for their suet cake molds and final packaging in which the product is sold.

“When deciding where to get our labels from, I wanted to find a local company,” said Kozminski. “I chose Swift Printing because they also have a passion for sustainability as they are a certified B-Corp! I knew I could also rely on Swift because they are trusted by several other big companies in Grand Rapids and recently printed the ArtPrize brochures!”

Logan was working on a product mock up for Start Garden's Demo Day where 10 entrepreneurs had the opportunity to win $20,000 with no strings attached to launch/expand their business.
“I am beyond happy with both the quality and service Swift Printing provided,” said Kozminski. “And I know I will continue to do business with them in the future!”
Unfortunately, Perfect Circle Proteins+ didn’t win the top 10. However, if you are interested in this sustainable business they sell their products on their website and who knows, you may be seeing them in retail stores soon.
