September: What’s New on the Swift Side
Being Swift Printing is the Official Printer of ArtPrize, I consider it my civic duty to tell everyone I know about ArtPrize and all the fun it brings to our city.

We have an ArtPrize entry this year. It’s called “Printing in Grand Rapids, MI”. In our nine large windows that face Bridge Street there is a timeline of printing history, information on different printing technology, the making of the ArtPrize Event Guides, Walt Sr. (our founder’s) old desk is on display, and our team even restored a pre-electricity printing press. Be sure to come by and have a look. Please consider adding us to your favorite list on ArtPrize.org.
Run This Town (or walk) during ArtPrize
The WestSide Stride has a fun run/walk 5K course that starts on Bridge Street under the Red Lion Vintage Neon. The course tours popular venues and patrons will see as much art as possible in a short distance. Consider joining us Tuesday, September 27.

How many places are there to be merry on Bridge Street?
I did the math the other day, there are 29 places to enjoy a beverage or get food on Bridge Street. TWENTY-NINE! When I got married on the street 10 years ago there was around six. Next time you have to pick up a Swift order schedule it for the end of the day and make plans with a colleague or do a date night and try out a place on Bridge Street.
