Grand Rapids’ 16th Annual City-Wide Community Cleanup is happening Saturday, April 26, and this year promises to be the most exciting one yet. With Swift Printing proudly on board as a sponsor, we’re ready to help make this event cleaner, greener, and even more fun!
Across 17 registration sites citywide, volunteers of all ages will unite to beautify our neighborhoods, connect with one another, and celebrate the pride we have in our community. Whether you’re a cleanup veteran or a first-time participant, there’s a spot just for you (with gloves included!).

What Makes This Event Special?
Because it’s not just about picking up litter—it’s about coming together. At Swift, we believe in showing up for the community that supports us, and we’re proud to be part of an event that celebrates civic pride, friendship, and meaningful action.
Here’s what all registered volunteers will enjoy:
Free lunch from local food vendors
Admission to the Volunteer Block Party at John Ball Zoo
A zoo voucher good for a full week of admission
Free rides on The Rapid all day with your wristband
Raffle tickets (and bonus entries for scavenger hunt fun!)
A chance to win trophies for the most valuable, bizarre, funniest, and largest items found
A meaningful way to earn service hours and connect with neighbors
Event Schedule:
8:30 AM – Check in at your district site for supplies and instructions
9:15 AM – Cleanup begins
11:45 AM – Cleanup wraps (leave trash at designated pickup spots)
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM – Volunteer Block Party kicks off at John Ball Zoo
