A Sweet Success – The Donut Dash 2025

Hey, Grand Rapids! 🍩✨

March 4th, our community came together in the sweetest way possible at the Donut Dash 2025, and oh boy, was it a dough-lightful affair! We laced up, hit the pavement, and yes—devoured some delicious Paczki, courtesy of Bridge Street Market. Best of all, we raised a whopping $2,000 for the Grand Rapids Police Department Foundation.

Here’s the cherry on top: in celebration of Swift Printing's 75th anniversary, we matched the funds raised, doubling our impact to a total of $4,000 donated! That's what I call making a sweet difference.

A Night to Remember From toddlers toddling to seniors strolling, participants of every age joined in. As we dashed through the evening, it wasn't just about the calories burned or the Paczki earned; it was about our community's heart and spirit coming together, proving that anything can be a blast when donuts are involved. 🏃‍♀️🏃🍩

Shout-Out to Our Amazing Sponsors A huge thanks to Bridge Street Market, Last Mile Cafe, WYCE, Gazelle Sports, Grand Rapids Community Media Center, Perrin Brewery, Roots Brew Shop, BroadLeaf Underground, LMCU Bridge Run, DGRI, Don Passenger Law and of course, Swift Printing. Each of you played a pivotal role in sprinkling extra joy into our event.

And guess what? Our local star, Adriana Doria from WoodTV, was there to cover all the action live, ensuring our donut deeds didn’t go unnoticed.

Extra Sprinkles of Fun After crossing the finish line, the fun didn’t stop. We kept the party rolling at BroadLeaf Underground’s after-party.

Words from the Wise Police Chief Eric Windstorm shared, “The Donut Dash not only highlights our community's spirit but also its heart. The funds raised, along with the generous match from Swift Printing, will greatly aid the Foundation and reinforce the bond between our citizens and the police department.”

And from yours truly, Jessica Gutowski-Slaydon, President of Swift Printing, “Seeing our community come together for such a fun and impactful event is what it’s all about for me and my family. Each year, the Donut Dash grows, reflecting the strong community values that define us.”

Walt Gutowski III added, “It’s heartening to see how much joy and community support can come out of an event centered around donuts and doing good. We're thankful for everyone's participation and generosity.”

Mark Your Calendars for Next Year Already dreaming of next year’s Donut Dash? Save the date for Fat Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Let's make it even sweeter!
