Here are four valuable insights I gained from the students of Kuyper College

Here is Parks and I with the students in front of Anna, our press.

I have the honor of giving college students a tour of Swift Printing a few times a year. It's always interesting; most of the time, I feel like I bombed with these young kids, but I keep telling myself, I'm not a regular older person — I'm a “cool” older person. The funny thing is, I used to see the tours as a way for me to give back, but now it's a tool to teach me to be better at, well, everything. Thank you Kuyper students for the opportunity to learn from you!

  1. Don't assume disengagement just because someone has their phone out; notes can be taken digitally.

  2. Lack of an immediate reaction doesn't imply a lack of understanding or engagement with the message.

  3. A great teacher makes all the difference. Kudos to Professor A for being an awesome teacher.

  4. Our youth is remarkably wise; this group, approximately 15 years my junior, demonstrated insight beyond their years.
