Introducing Parks Walter Slaydon

I can’t believe it has already been 12 weeks since I had the baby! I went into labor shortly after I sent out the Christmas email. I believe a birth announcement is long over due.

I ended up having a boy! His name is Parks Walter Slaydon. Named after his Uncle Walt, Jaja (aka Grandpa, Walt Jr.) and my Grandpa Gutowski. Parks was born on my Grandpa’s heavenly birthday too - December 18. As you may know, I’m a sentimental person, so this was very special to me and my family.

Don’t tell our other kids, but he is by far our best baby. He is so chill and a happy guy. Here he is modeling off his Bridge Street Market onesie. (Thanks Mitch & Daltyn)

Where did the name Parks come from? Growing up, my brother Walt and I were big fans of Parks and Shane Bonifay- the wake board brothers. Since I was lucky enough to have another boy we decided it would be the perfect name. Parks Bonifay even gave our Parks a little shout out on instagram. See the photo below.

Parks has been such a fun baby and brings our family so much joy and love. We’re so excited and grateful to be his parents and watch him grow up.
