Customer Feature: Adoption Care Services

There’s something especially meaningful about printing for a new business.

A logo becomes a sign. A stack of cards becomes something you can hand to a future client. A brochure or printed piece becomes one more way of saying, “We’re here, and this is what we’re about.”

That’s why we were so excited to work with Adoption Care Services, a new Grand Rapids practice founded by Holly Osbeck, LMSW.

Holly spent a decade as a school social worker before stepping away for a few years after she and her family adopted their daughter, Ada, from South Korea. She later returned to the field as a therapist and, after four years in practice, decided to build something of her own.

In August 2026, Adoption Care Services began seeing clients virtually. On September 9, the practice officially opened its doors for in-person appointments at 4630 Plainfield Ave., lower level.

For Holly, the work is deeply personal.

“My children motivate me to be the best version of myself, mistakes and all.”

Her hope is that every client who walks through the door feels the same thing she wants her own children to know: that they are good, loved and enough.

That idea is at the heart of Adoption Care Services.

The practice provides mental health therapy and occupational therapy, with psychiatry coming soon, for children, teens and adults. While trauma-informed care and adoption are areas of specialty, ACS welcomes clients whether or not adoption is part of their story.

One of the things that makes the practice unique is its “one stop” model. Clients can choose one service or combine several, depending on what they need. ACS also offers Accelerated Resolution Therapy, or ART, a trauma-focused therapy modality.

After months of planning and renovations, Holly opened the new space with four therapists and one occupational therapist working as contractors, with plans to continue expanding the team.

And from the beginning, she wanted the practice to feel intentional.

That’s where print comes in.

Good printing is about more than putting ink on paper. For a new organization, printed materials help establish the personality of the brand before a conversation even begins. The paper, finish, color, layout and consistency all contribute to whether something feels warm, professional, trustworthy, clinical, playful or welcoming.

For a practice like Adoption Care Services, that matters.

The goal isn’t simply to look polished. It’s to create materials that feel aligned with the experience Holly wants clients to have when they walk through the door.

We were especially grateful to hear why Holly chose Swift.

“Swift is a business that operates with intentionality and integrity.”

Holly and Jes have known one another for years through their children, serving on their kids Parent Teacher Organization together, sports and general love for community involvement.

Starting a private practice takes a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes, from renovations and staffing to licensing, scheduling, branding and simply having the courage to open the doors.

Now that the doors are open, Holly is focused on growing the practice, building connections throughout West Michigan and providing accessible care both in person and through telehealth across Michigan.

ACS also plans to offer mental health trainings for clients and the broader community, while continuing to build relationships with adoption-focused organizations, local businesses and the Grand Rapids Chamber.

We love getting to watch a business move from idea to reality, especially when the mission behind it is this thoughtful.

Congratulations, Holly and the entire Adoption Care Services team. We’re excited to see what you build from here.
