Grow is a vital community development organization in Grand Rapids, focusing on empowering small business owners with knowledge and capital. Their efforts encompass valuable training, such as the Centro business plan bootcamp, and the deployment of microloans (up to $50,000) to aid staffing, new equipment, and technological advancements. Serving Grand Rapids and a nine-county region in West Michigan, Grow plays a pivotal role in connecting historically underserved entrepreneurs.

These community-focused initiatives strive to create a meaningful impact, fostering job creation and retention. Funding sources for Grow include the Small Business Administration, governmental entities, private donors, and philanthropy. Notably, Grow recently secured a substantial grant from Michigan's inaugural CDFI fund, furthering their commitment to local businesses.

Paola Mendivil, their business development officer, emphasizes Grow's dedication to transparency and accessibility in the lending industry. They tailor loans to individual needs and employ innovative underwriting practices, ensuring more entrepreneurs gain access to essential capital.

Enter Swift Printing— the collaboration with Grow has been a fun experience. Swift has crafted a reusable oversized check and produced business plan bootcamp materials. Handling the printing and assembling process enables Grow's team to focus on their core tasks, enhancing productivity.

Swift says, an ideal oversized check size is 18 inches by 36 inches, offering both impact and practicality. (think for storage) For reusability, applying a dry erase laminate allows details to be updated effortlessly. This approach maximizes the check's utility and aligns with sustainability goals.

Thank you Grow for choosing Swift Printing for your printing needs and for your continuous efforts to uplift West Michigan.
