Mary Free Bed At Home is the Michigan-based home care division of Mary Free Bed driven by a goal to keep patients out of the hospital and safe where they live.
Mary Free Bed At Home is a joint venture between Mary Free Bed and Residential Home Health, a subsidiary of Graham Health Care Group. This partnership provides an opportunity for community members to receive the high quality care they expect from the Mary Free Bed health care system in their homes. The team at Mary Free Bed At Home is made up of talented and caring individuals that travel to homes throughout Michigan. Mary Free Bed At Home has been named a “Top Place To Work” by the Detroit Free Press in both 2021 and 2022.

CUSTOM IS (USUALLY) THE ANSWER
On the team at Mary Free Bed At Home, you’ll find Nicole Durga, the Clinical Quality Manager. She started as a clinician, was then promoted to supervisor and now serves as a manager, and she says her days are filled with “opportunities to support the people supporting the people in our community.”
On a typical day as a clinician for Mary Free Bed At Home, there are multiple home visits to different patients, all with a variety of needs and challenges. While patient information is stored securely in their computer systems, there are additional resources that the care team may need or schedules to keep a close eye on.

In years past, the team at Mary Free Bed At Home would be provided standard planners. They had the company logo on the front, but the customization stopped there. With Nicole’s passion for leveraging every resource for optimal impact, she quickly realized that this could be better. What if they made a custom, fully-personalized planner – something that could support the people supporting people? This team gives their all and they deserved a planner that reciprocated and supported their passion.

SWIFT PRINTING: ALL THAT THE NAME IMPLIES
At Swift Printing, we’ve printed our fair share of planners and bound booklets, but the level of care and customization Nicole was looking for was a first. Page after page is filled with personalized quotes (think: messages of encouragement, tips, or wisdom from their team!), core behaviors, specific dates for Mary Free Bed at Home, and other individualized resources. The size is larger than your typical planner at 8.5 x 11 inches, giving plenty of space to capture every necessary detail of your day.

A Jes Sidebar: The best part for me was the fact that I got to work with my cousin, Nicole. I always say my grandpa started Swift, but it was really cool to think our grandpa started Swift Printing Company.
The most recent version is made complete with a clear protective cover, which Nicole says is helpful for the field team to be able to place (and replace!) sticky notes with relevant information. The entire planner is bound with a double zero wire.
