SWIFT PRINTING BUILDING ON BRIDGE STREET

We get many compliments about our building and recently I was doing some research and found this photo on Grand Rapid's Historical Commissions website. George H. Gruenbauer started his tavern/saloon, called Gruenbauer Tavern in 1892. The photo above was taken sometime between 1910-1920. The tavern was located right where our office is today.

If only our walls could talk. I mean we have fun here with printing but I can only imagine what it was like in the early 1900's with a bunch of German immigrants drinking beer.
