I Can’t Escape the Swift
From the desk of Jes
This past spring break my mom and I took my three children to St. Louis, MO to sight see and visit the Gateway Arch National Park.
Why St. Louis?
About 25 years ago my parents took my siblings and I there for a printers convention. We had such an awesome time that I wanted to go back with my kiddos.
Blake, my oldest, found a place he wanted to go to because the location was formerly owned by John Swift - a printer. Naturally, we had to go check it out.
We arrived at Schlafly Brewery and started looking at the menu and couldn’t believe what we read … Swift Printing Company!
What are the odds? I mean it make’s since his name was Swift, but it felt like we were lead there for a reason - I just can’t escape the Swift. We were all so excited! It really was a fun part of out trip.

Something I was not aware of before we planned the trip. My mom went to St. Louis when she was a kid, again when I was a kid, and when her grandchildren were kids. As a sentimental person, learning this made the trip even better.
Did you go anywhere for spring break?
**Upon further research the company name is something similar, not the exact name of our business, but still pretty cool.
