Our Favorite Places to Meet on Grand Rapids’ West Side
It’s no secret that we love the West Side – and we love doing just about anything and everything in our local neighborhood! So, when we’re on the hunt for a great meeting spot, we like to keep it local. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite spots to post up and talk business.
For those meetings that you need a proper chair, table, and maybe even a projector or tv screen to present, we have a few top picks.
BRIDGE STREET MINISTRIES & EDEN CAFE
1034 Bridge St NW
Bridge Street Ministries recently added a locally-owned coffee shop to their footprint on Bridge Street. Eden Cafe is a perfect stop for a coffee meeting and an opportunity to support a local organization. Located just inside Bridge Street Ministries, you can also inquire about using a larger space outfitted with a projector screen and presentation capabilities.
GROW HUB GR
560 5th Street NW, Suite 205
Grow Hub GR is a purpose-driven, business hub and co-working community located in the heart of the Westside of Grand Rapids. They offer beautiful coworking and meeting spaces for small or large groups. To inquire, reach out to Stephanie at (616) 647-7810.
FERRIS COFFEE
839 Seward Ave NW
The West Side is no stranger to good coffee shops, but if you’re looking for a quiet place to meet, our friends at Ferris Coffee have the perfect solution. At their headquarters on Seward, you’ll find a retail shop, a full coffee shop (with snacks!) and a big seating area. In addition to their normal cafe-style seating, you can rent out a small or large conference room for private meetings.
And for our more casual meet and greets or where food is an absolute necessity, we like to stop into a more lively environment. Here are our picks for that!
BRIDGE STREET MARKET
405 Seward Ave NW
We’re big fans of Bridge Street Market , their large cafe with seating and access to fresh sushi, coffee, and sandwiches from West Side Deli really make this an ideal spot for a casual meeting. That is especially true if you have a varied group of people with different dietary needs – there are few places with more options than a grocery store! Free 1-hour parking is available in the garage behind the market (enter on Seward).
NONLA BURGER
449 Bridge Street NW
Again with the food – we can’t help ourselves! Nonla Burger is a great spot to meet because they have ample seating, the food is quick and the space is inspiring. There is a variety of seating options with outdoor seating available during the warmer months, too!
Roots Brew Shop
600 7TH Street NW
At Roots all are welcome. It’s easy to become a regular because the coffee is great, people are friendly and the kitschy decor is adorable. Plus the owner, Malory Root, is nearly always there. The sun-dried tomato cream cheese and everything bagel literally got me through my last pregnancy. This a great place for 2-4 people to meet up.
Be Prepared for you Meeting
Now when you need printing materials for your meetings please think of Swift Printing. We have a commercial print shop for your printed marketing materials, but we also have a walk up copy center for your needs such as color copies, black and white copies, coil binding, stapling, etc. And most items can be done while you wait.
Are there other meeting spaces you love on the West Side? We’d love to add to this list so send them our way!
