A typical summer day at Swift Printing 50 years ago
"What's on the docket for today Walt?" I start up the small offset press and start producing the jobs.
Halfway through the morning, Walt calls me over to the Kluge to help him with a rush "stinker job".
Translated It Means “The Great Swiftness”
Calder created the sculpture but it wouldn’t have happened without the vision from Nancy Mulnix. Experience GR put together an awes-inspiring video(see below) on how it all came to be. I think every Grand Rapidian has a special connection with the Calder.
Customer Parking and Pick Up on Bridge Street
The Covid-19 pandemic was a perfect time for us to start this parking system. Being no one wanted to have to touch a machine or take a ticket, it was well received. The parking lot is enforced regularly so be sure to always pay to park. Also, make sure you check out when you leave.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK ON BRIDGE STREET?
When it comes time to pick up your Swift Printing order, we want the process to be an enjoyable experience
